what do you do
when what you love
has taken all you have—
and all you have left
to hold onto
is hope?
Feminist, Writer, Cult Classic
what do you do
when what you love
has taken all you have—
and all you have left
to hold onto
is hope?
every place i go
i leave another place behind–
i’ve been running from myself
and losing everyone
in the process.
tonight i am overwhelmed
by existence
how a moment can be so far
and feel so close
time passes by
and you can never quite
catch
the moments
that matter.
it is hard to love yourself
when you feel lost
and don’t
know who
you are.
at what point
do you stop waiting
on them
and just
let go?
grief numbed
by fleeting pleasures
left her empty
and looking for something
she’d lost
long ago.
relationships die
when there is
no space
left
to grow.
they make you
weak
then they
blame you
for breaking.
home
is not
a piece of land
but a place
you hold
in your heart.
ordered chaos
is still chaos,
and some days
it consumes
me.
