I’m tall,
I’ve always been,
But I don’t feel like it;
I’ve been broken down
So many times
Sometimes I feel
Like I’m the smallest person
In the room.

Omg. 6.5😲😲😲
❤beautifully expressed.
I like tall men! 🙂
Why do you let that happen?
sorted experiences growing up, sometimes what you know is where you go even when it’s not good for you
That resonates SO Strongly for this 6-foot woman. Being talk is something those that aren’t envy and those that are know is almost a handicap for those of us with gentle spirits …
so true, i feel like they feel like size means strength and can be quite hard on us

Amazing! Pain painted in words!
thank you:)
Interesting. I am 5 foot 1, and sometimes, I feel like the biggest person in the room!
haha that is awesome, i’m jealous:P
I really hope you will heal into your size 🙂
beautiful sentence, thank you:)
Aww you’re most welcome!
As you know, I share a lot of your hashtags in my personal life. I also come from an exceptionally tall family. The men who are 6′ 3″ are the short guys. Even the women are tall. Until little 5’1 inch me came along. I’ve sent your book to some relatives, and forwarded this poem to several men in my family who can totally relate. So powerful.
thanks Barb:) it’s so true, plus I feel like people see you and you are tall they assume you are tough which isn’t always the case
And small, that you have a chip on your shoulder. Or need to be protected.
I’m 5 feet!!! I would like to meet you!! It would be fun to try and fit in a closeup photo together 😀
I love this poem. I too am just 152cm (5′) and I do not have a chip on my shoulder. I’m happy being me and isn’t it just as well?
it is! it is crazy how people judge based on stature
Another gem 🙂
