Been there, done that, a couple of times, actually. Just let go and something seems to drag you to shore. Seriously…I’ve almost drowned several times and something saved me all three times. So in reality, or metaphorically, your poem works perfectly.
wow, that must’ve been scary, I’m not a strong swimmer so I try and avoid rough waters, but i know metaphorically, I always get stressed and load myself up with commitments so I am too busy to realise how sad I’m getting
